Created in 1995 by by Giovanni Hajnal. Vatican II declared that Mary is the link which unites the Church to the Old Testament. It shows the Virgin and Child with Old Testament represented by the 7 branched candlestick and tablets of the law and the New Testament by the Cross and the Eucharist.
