DOOR
In the center is a bronze door (1949) depicting
scenes from the life of the Virgin Mary.
On the left is the Holy Door donated by The Equestrian Order of Saint Sepolcro
of Jerusalem. The large images in the center are Christ rising from the tomb.The
Annunciation, Mater Dei, and Vatican Countil II which declared her to be Mother
of the Church (Mater Ecclesiae, are at the top. At the bottom of the door, not
shown, is Pentecost and the Council of Ephesis which declared Mary as Theotokos
(God-bearer),
