BLESSED SACRAMENT CHAPEL is in the south Transept on the right hand side of the papal altar. The tabernacle is gilt bronze shaped like a domed church. See pics 0201, 0202 & 0203. Immediately above is a bronze sculpture of the Last Supper. High above that is an enormous painting by “Cavalier d’Arpino” of the Ascension. The lower part of it can be seen in pic. 0202 & 0203.
