FAYE JIM MARY
Our apartent was
located less than ½ mile to the south and west of St. PeterŐs. It was on
the 3rd floor with an elevator. The entrance was very secure
requiring a key and the doors were heavy. The elevator doors were different
from those in US. They had an inner metal grating and both doors had to be
closed in order to be available to anyone else. The apt. was very comfortable.
One bathroom with tub and hand held shower. Their were no closets but a clothes
rack was movable so we put it in the hallway. The couch iin the living room
opened to a bed which we did not use. It was air conditioned with remote
control.
It was in an area of
lots of mom and pop specialty shops. Bakery, Produce, Pizza etc. Prices were
high as euros were more valuable than dollars.
